Symptoms: Starting to have MUCH more energy. I am still battling morning sickness but it comes and goes. Hopefully it will go soon!

Maternity clothes: Wore my first maternity shirt this week...thanks to my neighbor!

Sleep: Nothing great about this. Still up every 2 hours to pee.

Fun moments this week: Starting my student teaching. Really I wasn't too sure about this but it is great!

Food cravings: not really having any yet. I am loving being able to drink caffeine.

Gender & Name: Hubby and I have decided we are not discussing names until we know what the gender is for sure! Too stressful!

Weight gained: 1 lb last time I went to the doctor. I am sure that will change next visit!

What I am looking forward to: Seeing our sweet babies face in July!

Reflections on the past week: I have more energy so I am able to do more things around the house. Hopefully I can do more with the babies room soon!

As many of you already know, the hubby and I are expecting a baby. My due date is July 14, 2012. I am going to try and update this every week or so. I also start my student teaching Monday so I am sure it is going to be crazy busy!!! But I love it!

Baby is the size of: a plum

Symptoms: having a few- getting up every 2 hours to pee at night, starting to get a little pooch, my boobs hurt

Maternity Clothes: loving the jeans and some shirts.

Sleep: I do love to sleep. I wake up late, take a nap and then go to bed around 9:30. I do see that I am not as tired as I was at first.

Fun moments this past week: Seeing our sweet baby on the ultrasound! It was awesome!

Movement: none yet!

Food cravings: The doctor said I needed to gain weight so I am trying to eat more! oh darn!

Reflections on the past week: This week is my last week off from work. I start my student teaching Monday. I am going to be in a 5th grade math class. I am extremely nervous but excited at the same time!!! I am ready to be done with it all and meet my sweet baby!

I love my GG!

Please pray for her. This morning I got a call that something had happened to her and the ambulance was being called. So I got my close on and headed her way. She lives in Cumming and there is a hospital not too far from her. She was taken by ambulance to Northside Forsyth. She was bleeding alot and had hit her head. The doctors are still trying to find out where the bleeding is coming from. Please pray for the healing of her body as well as the hands that are helping her heal.

Ready or Not...

...School is starting tomorrow. I think for the most part I am ready. I have met most of my students at Open House. My room is set up the way it needs to be, and our Panda Patch is coming along great. This year our class will be called 'The Panda Pals'. Pandas are my favorite animal and so I thought, why not be surrounded by them all year long! I cannot stress enough how excited I am for this year to begin. I have so many exciting ideas for my students, and cannot wait to see them succeed! I will have the inclusion class again this year. Inclusion ranks very high on my favorites list! I have some cuties coming in this year! :)

My summer was very laid back and relaxing. Well minus the Swamp trip. Ok the actual trip, stay and company was great. The time spent in the swamp with the gators in a little john boat was not so much fun! Not my idea of fun anyways. To the people that go there all the time, they enjoyed it! I was doing ok until my hubby and brother in law decided to go fishing and it was feeding time for the gators. Well one gator decided he wanted to eat the fish, and bumped out boat to try and get it. Then I was done! I would love to go back next year but I think I will skip the boat part!
A couple of weeks later my grandmother, aunt and I went down to my other aunts house at Lake Oconee. We had some great chats and just relaxed. Then it was followed up with a baby shower for my cousin. Can't wait to meet little Peyton.
Our last trip was to Ellijay with the Cips. They invited us to come up with them over the 4th of July weekend. It was alot of fun. They are great people to be around in general. We also went tubing with Tony and Megan. That was nice and relaxing as well until hubby fell out of the tube and scrapped his back. He is nice and healed now!
Speaking of hubby, the highlight to our summer was that he just received the news that he has been put on the kidney transplant list. Of course there are mixed emotions with this but overall we are happy that this is finally happening. Please keep our family in your prayers.
Now that was a wrap up of our summer. We have been busy but also able to fit in some relaxation time. Now it is time to start full force this school year.
OHHHHH I almost forgot! I am graduating in December. I have FOUR MORE classes to take and I am ecstatic to no end. There is no more going to the Reinhardt campus because my classes are online. And they are special education classes at that. I have been wanting to take these classes and now I have the opportunity to! YEAH!!!
Well that was alot in one post! I am going to try and update this more often. Maybe daily....huh!

Update on Lucy...and the test!

Lucy is doing much better. After taking her to the vet, she was feeling better that day. It was so sad to see her pitiful and sad. I think Asher missed her playing and growling at him. He didn't know what to do as well!
Well Saturday I go to Johns Creek High School to retake the GACE II. I am so over this test already. I am looking forward to it so I can pass it. Today I am studying all day, with maybe a break for a manicure and pedicure! :) I will be reading all day and finding out about certain events that I am not too sure about!
Please pray for me at 1:00 on March 27th.
Now onto a fun filled week...

Lucy has been sick the past few days. Took her to the vet today and she has a GI infection she got from eating something in the trash. She has just been laying around and getting food every 4 hours. She loves that part. Here is a picture of my baby girl on a better day...

Ok so my ***BFF*** has been asking me to update my blog, and I feel I live a boring life and have nothing to say. She always has something to say with her precious babies!
So I figured I would post my newest accomplishment! I lost 10 pounds!!! I am soo excited. I started Zumba on Wednesday nights and it has been a blast! I really think that has helped my weight come off! Some days I really feel the weight loss and then other days I feel as if I have gained it all back. I want to loose 20 more pounds and I hope I can do it by May! I am in the lead at work with the "Biggest Loser" challenge!
Work is going good. The children are learning more and more and becoming so smart! They are so excited to get ready for Kindergarten! College is going good as well. I made a 4.0 this semester! Love it! I also got the go ahead to be able to start my Student Teaching in the Fall. I pray that I get a good teacher to be able to learn from and work with!
Hubby and pups are doing good. Asher is still barking at every little thing, (right now it is the toilet brush) and not wanting to sleep at night! Lucy is awesome! Hubby is great!
Well that is about it for now! I will update soon when I loose my next 10 pounds!

Ode to the Diet...

Monday at work we started the "Biggest Loser" with weight watchers. We weighed ourselves on Monday and whoever looses the most weight by May 28th gets the money in the pot. Everyone is putting in $2 each week. I am so excited! I am actually doing really good so far.

Monday-Wednesday went really well. I did have a little trouble getting to my allowed points but I guess that is ok!

Thursday I did really well and made it to my points allowed and did not go over!

Friday I was observing at the elementary school and decided to eat lunch with the kids. It was hot dogs and french fries and they were getting ice cream so of course I wanted ice cream! So I think I went over for that day. But when I came home and have dinner I had a small Smart Choice meal.

Saturday...oh geez. It was birthday lunch with the family. We went to Olive Garden. At first I was thinking of not caring and eating whatever I wanted...then I thought about how nice I will look this summer (HEHE) and ordered a salad with low fat dressing, ate ONE breadstick, and a small portion of soup. I did check the calories of some items before I got there. I cannot believe the amount of calories in one item! WOW!

Today we are going over to the Cip's for another birthday dinner so I am sure I will go over with my hubby's delicious crab cakes, but I will try and walk tonight or something!

Well I am trying to stay on this! I Can Do IT!!!!

***Please be praying for me at 5pm Monday afternoon. That is when I learn what my GACE score is. I am so nervous!***

Observation

After reading my friend Sarah's blog, I am trying to step up my blogging as well! HEHE!

Over the past few days I have been doing observation at an Elementary school in Canton. I am really loving it. The teacher I am observing is awesome! She is so calm and great with the kids. It makes me want to be a teacher more and more! There are some great kids in there as well. The teacher has let me help the students with their seat work, and I got to read a book today! Loved it!
This week is birthday week in my family. My GG's birthday is tomorrow, Mom and Aunts on Friday and my Great Grandmothers Saturday...RIP MAMA! We are headed to Olive Garden Saturday for lunch! Can't wait.

At work we started Weight Watchers among a few women there. We weighed in on Tuesday and will weigh in again on the last day of school. We have a little incentive pot going to help us all! I am excited! I have been doing good so far...Day four is upon us!

Wednesday October 21st was mine and Nathan's 3 year wedding anniversary. Since the new addition we decided to stay at home this year. We both took the day off from work, and ran errands and enjoyed each others company alllll day! Then we went to Ruth's Chris for dinner. It was so delicious, of course! This is to many more anniversary's, and wonderful years with my soul mate, my best friend, MY HUSBAND.

It has been a looong time since I have updated my blog. I really like to read other peoples blog, but I feel that mine is always so boring. But boring is not what our life has been lately. There is a new addition in the Goss household.

I introduce Asher Roy Goss born July 11, 2009....

He has been keeping us busy to say the least! Him and Lucy had their spat in the beginning but now she has taken on the big sister role very well. He is very hyper, but also loves to snuggle and cuddle in the warm bed. When he is not running around the house with my shoes, chasing Lucy's tail, or barking at absolutely nothing, he is being a sweet loving little pup!

I had been wanting a small dog for some time now, and Nathan's brother called him one day and told him that a man he works with had 3 puppies to give away. Yes! give away...full breed dauschund! After Nathan told me this, of course I got excited and called my sister. Well after telling her about the puppies she decided she wanted the other 2. So now I introduce my new nephews Smith and Wesson ( I don't think they have middle names)...

So the Goss household has been turned upside down, but we love ever minute of it!

Saturday night we hosted our annual BBQ. It was a lot calmer than last year, but still a great time. Many of our friends came and we enjoyed them all! Nathan stayed up all night the night before preparing and cooking the food. So needless to say today he is wiped out but he says it was all worth it.
Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures. Oh well!
Well as far as school goes...we have...29 days until summer. I think this is the first year that I am busting at the seams for summer to get here...I think because I am one year closer to BIG school! YEAH! College is going well. I am taking 2 classes this summer, so it will be a low key summer I am hoping!
Lucy is great as usual and so is Nathan. We are just living our blessed life!

Belated VDay

Friday at school the kids passed out VDay cards for their friends and were cute getting excited about what was in each box. They each had their own decorated vday box! At the end of the day they were very hyped up...and I didnt even give them candy!
Well for the actual VDay we sat here on the couch, I did laundry and we watched TV...WOW too much excitement for one to handle!!!
We are not much on crowds and we knew that Sat night would be unreal...so we went to lunch on Sunday at Provinos thanks to our gift certificate from Christmas! Then we walked around Wal Mart quickly so we wouldn't buy too much, then came home and crashed!
This week I am at home ALL week and loving every minute of it! Today I have scrubbed half the kitchen, and vacuumed the living room and hall way. The kitchen was much needed and I am embarrassed to see how much dirt was on the floor :(
Tomorrow I am heading to a friends house after I finish the remainder of the kitchen floor.
Saturday I have a fun filled day! I am going to Chuckie Cheese for Alex and Masons bday celebration, and then off to Monroe for a friends wedding shower...then to my moms to hang out for a bit and get my futon. YEAH!

I am so excited! I feel like shouting from the roof tops! I passed all parts of the GACE now and can continue my education and soon become a teacher! I cried when I got the email saying I passed the third part! YEAH! Lucy was here to celebrate with me!

Yesterday was 100 days of school! Yeah. I am so proud of my children coming to school for 100days. Now the good part is we ONLY have 80 days until summer break!!!! The best part of teaching!!!

College is coming along. I am actually starting to get excited about the end result. I am taking more education classes now, and I am waiting my results from the GACE to get admitted into the Price School of Education. The other day I posted my salary schedule for my years of teaching. That made Nathan quite excited! For now I am continuing along with all the mounds of homework that pile up!!!

We had a great Christmas. Busy as usual! Nathan got his family Bodies Exhibit ticket for Christmas, so we all went the Saturday after. It was quite interesting. I thought the babies part was just awesome to see the tiny egg, then in 9 short months it is a baby! It is truely a miracle. Speaking of miracles...My neighbors became parents for the first time on Monday. Miss Avery was born very quickly...more power to Courtney. Can't wait to meet her...once I get over this yucky cold, I will be knocking on their door! :)

New Years Eve we spent with Megan and Tony, and had a great time over at their house. After being at their house and playing the Wii, Nathan and I really want one...so that will be in our near future.. once we can find one reasonably priced!
New Years Day my sister in law cooked lunch and it was delicious!
I did not make any resolutions this year, because they always seem to disintegrate after about 2 weeks. I am bad I know!

Well that is the excitement of our lives. Coming up next is mom and GG's birthday and Fall break!!!
I will try and update this more often!

What we have been up to...

With the holidays coming up and the fast approaching final exams, I have felt like a hermit/computer nerd in my own house. I have done nothing but research for the dreaded thesis paper due in American Lit. and still no idea where to start! But I will get through it!

Last Sunday we went to my cousins house in Eatonton and had Thanksgiving. It was nice to visit with my aunt! It is a long drive, but my cousins new husband so graciously took the responsibility of driving and all I had to do was sit back and relax! That was nice.
Nathan did not go with us because he has been in tremendous pain with his elbow.Not sure what exactly is going on with it...the doctor says its tennis elbow...we think it might be bursitis or something along that line. Anyways, I spent that day without him, which is one of my least favorite things to do!

I have been off work all week, which has been nice and relaxing, and got many things around the house done. Today I will put up the Christmas tree...after my nap!
Wednesday I had lunch with a long time friend, Jessica, and we had a great time. She helped me find a much needed duvet cover at Linens N Things! That store is going out of business, and I got a $80 cover for $31! I was impressed!

Then yesterday, Thanksgiving, we went to Nathans moms side of the family first, and then to his dads side. It was a great time at both!
After all the festivities we came home, built a fire, and crashed!

This morning I woke up and took Nathan to work, and figured that since I was already up, I would hit some stores. I am not too much of a early morning shopper, but after 7am I am ok. So I got was I wanted at Staples, and walked right out...no wait. Then went to the crazy hole...AKA Walmart, and was informed that the sheets that I thought were a good deal, but did not need too bad to stand in line at 3 am, were sold out...oh well. That is what I call Black Friday fun! I might go back out later to buy Christmas ornaments! Let the Christmas festivities begin!

Tomorrow we are going to my other aunts to have Thanksgiving with the other half of my family...long story...and fry turkey and all the yummy food there!
then...Sunday we go to the Cipriani's for our annual Turkey Tetrazzini...then Monday is back to work!
Well...thats a wrap up of what the Goss household has been up to! Busy, tiring, yet together we have lots of fun!

Happy Anniversary!

Yesterday Nathan and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary. We both cannot believe its already been two years. Time flies when you are having fun!

Monday night we decided to go to dinner because we wanted to be able to relax the next day and enjoy each other. Oh side note, we took Monday and Tuesday off from work. So we went to Kyma, which is part of the Buckhead Diner Group, and I had a gift card I recieved as a gift. So that paid for a quarter of our meal. Then while we were there we realized it was resturant week. For those who do not know what resturant week is, it is where the "fancy" restruants have a special 3 course meal for $29 each! So we decided that we would come back the next night, which was actually our anniversary, and eat off the "cheap" menu. So we went back last night to Atlanta Fish Market, and it was pretty good! Then of course we came home and were in bed by 9:30pm. We are getting old!

The weekend was uneventful, except for the awesome Soup Swap I went to Sunday and learned how to make homemade carmel sauce...yummy!

Sunday we are thinking of going to ride the motorcycle somewhere! I love the fall weather!

Sick :(

Well today I am home sick. I have a sinus infection...no fun.
My children at school are sick and coughing all over the place, so I am sure that doesn't help!
This week is also finals at school...so today is a great day to study study study!!!
Nathan and I are going to the Cherokee Pignic tomorrow night and Saturday, so I will be sure to post pics from that.
And...our 2nd wedding anniversary is vastly approaching! 2 wonderful years have flown by!

Well, I went to my cousin's wedding on Saturday and saw many family members. Some got on to me for erasing my first blog...so here I return again!
